Volleyball: Eagles Battle Georgia Highlands in Tight Match
TBC Eagles Volleyball played one of their closest matches of the season thus far with a grueling four-set battle against the Chargers of Georgia Highlands College Tuesday night in Cartersville. Three of the four sets saw both teams reach 20, but Georgia Highlands came away with a win in four.
Trinity started strong, winning the first set 25-20, but the Chargers came back to take the second 25-17. Both Sets 3 and 4 were close the entire way with TBC hitting 23 in each. However, GHC was able to hold off the Eagles and win both to secure the match.

These two teams will meet again at TBC for Senior Night on October 26. First, though, the Eagles will participate in the Welch College Invitational this weekend for three matches against NCCAA Welch College (Thursday, 6:30 p.m. EDT), USCAA University of Cincinnati Clermont (Friday, 5:30 p.m.), and NCCAA Manhattan Christian College (Saturday, 9:00 a.m.).
The next home games are in a tri-match with USCAA Trinity College of Florida and NJCAA Andrew College on Saturday, October 12.
