Women’s Basketball: Eagles Take on New College of Florida
Three Eagles scored in double digits in Saturday's game at New College of Florida as TBC Eagles Women's Basketball took on the Banyans for the second consecutive weekend. The game included very close first and fourth quarters, but New College had very strong second and third periods to win the game 88-51.
Caroline Smith and Laila Harvey tied for the team lead with 13 points each. The duo combined for 9 baskets, including a three-pointer from Harvey. They also combined for 7 for 10 at the line and 12 rebounds.
Justice Ewig scored a season high 12 points for the Eagles by converting 4 three-point shots.

Ranajala Brown contributed 8 points in the effort, and Jaedin Houston added 5. Each had a three-pointer, bringing the team total to 7.
New College got 25 points from Gwen Tsoukalas and 16 from Sierra Moore to lead their team.
The Eagles have one final NCAA Division1 exhibition game on Tuesday when they travel to Daytona Beach to face Bethune-Cookman University. TBC will return home to battle Florida State College at Jacksonville on Thursday, November 21. After the Thanksgiving break, two of the five games in December are at home and three are away.
