Reniyah Clark scored 21 points in her first game against an NCAA Division 1 opponent and was 3rd overall in the game when TBC Eagles Women's Basketball visited the Ospreys of the University of North Florida. Seven teammates contributed points in the Eagles' first D-1 exhibition of the season, but the Ospreys won the game 146-53.
Clark sank 5 baskets overall from the field, including a pair of three-pointers. She also converted 9 of 14 foul shots to compile her team-leading point total.
Emma Parrish contributed 8 points for the Eagles, which included a three-pointer and three free throws. Justice Ewig contributed 6 points, all from beyond the arc, and Victoria Broadway totaled 5.
Ranajala Brown and Caroline Smith each scored 4 points, Jaedin Houston sank 3 foul shots, and Laila Harvey added 2.
The Eagles return to the home court on Saturday to take on NAIA New College of Florida at 2:00 p.m. EST. A home game with NCCAA Clinton College follows at 6:00 p.m. November 12 before two more exhibition games at NCAA Division 2 Savannah State University on November 14 and D-1 Bethune-Cookman University on November 19 with a trip to New College of Florida sandwiched in between on November 16.
