Men’s Soccer: Lambert Moves Up Save Percentage Ladder at Florida College

TBC Eagles goalkeeper Mason Lambert added six more saves to his Top-10 total and climbed up one position in the save percentage ranking during the team's match at Florida College on Thursday. The Eagles held the NAIA Falcons to only two goals but could not score themselves, and Florida College won the match 2-0.

Lambert faced 8 shots on goal and saved 6 of them as the Falcons took 17 total shots. He was 4 for 5 in the first half and 2 for 3 in the second. These saves bring Lambert's season totals to 53 saves (5th in NCCAA Division 2) in 9 games played and a 75.8% save percentage (8th). He is also 6th in fewest goals allowed with 15.

The Falcons, however, use a very solid defense that held TBC to 5 total shots. Ashton Karney had a shot on goal, and three teammates – Mickey Johnson (2), Gabriel Guzman, and Jason Campbell – all took aim.

These two teams will meet again during Trinity Baptist College's Homecoming Saturday on October 19. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m. following the women's game with Agnes Scott College at 11:00 a.m.

The men will then finish the regular season at home versus NJCAA Andrew College at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, and home against South Region rival Pensacola Christian College at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.
