TCJ Women's Soccer took a three-day, two-game trip to North Georgia and Western South Carolina to face South Region opponents Toccoa Falls College on Thursday and Bob Jones University on Saturday. In two exciting matches, the Eagles finished the trip 1-1 to take second place in the South Region with still two more opportunities against these same two teams at home in the next two weeks.
Thursday: Eagles 2, Toccoa Falls 1
Gina Bido and Ayla Buckley scored for the Eagles, and each goal gave the Trinity a lead. Bido broke a scoreless tie only 1:10 into the game. Kalli Robinson sent the ball into the scoring area from the right side of the box. A Toccoa defender deflected the ball to Bido, who connected from approximately 10 yards out.

Toccoa's Jenny Jaffe evened the score with a goal in Minute 12, but Buckley broke the 1-1 tie after stealing the ball just past the midfield circle. She dribbled through two defenders and beat the defenders racing back before hitting the right side of the net with a cross shot from the left side of the penalty box. That was the game's final tally.

Both defenses held the opposing attackers in check. Toccoa took only 6 total shots with 1 on goal, and Trinity took 8 total shots with 4 on goal. Robinson put 2 of her 4 shots on goal to lead the Eagles in attempts.
Taylor McCrory and Katianna Grace split the time in goal. McCrory notched 2 saves in the first half, and Grace saved 1 in the second.
Saturday: Bob Jones 2, Eagles 0
The Eagles played tough defense against the Bob Jones Bruins, holding the defending NCCAA Division 2 South Region and National champions to 10 total shots with 9 on goal. Grace saved 8 in 90 minutes of work. Francesca Aurednik and Elli Cummings scored for the Bruins.
The Bob Jones defense, however, kept Trinity to 3 total shots and 1 on goal (Camila Lopez). Robinson and Lucy Rife each took aim for the Eagles.
