Women’s Basketball: Parrish, Clark Lead Eagles vs. New College of Florida
Emma Parrish led the Eagles with 17 points on Saturday, and Reniyah Clark nearly hit double digits for the fourth time already as TBC Eagles Women's Basketball battled the Banyans of NAIA New College of Florida. The game remained close well into the third quarter before the Banyans got hot and pulled away to the 67-43 win.
Parrish scored 14 of her 17 points in the first half. She was 5 for 9 from the field with 2 three-pointers and 2 for 3 at the line in the first half before exiting. She added a three-pointer in the first minute of the second half to amass her team-high total, which was third overall in the game.
Clark nearly topped 10 points for the fourth time in four games, including the D-1 exhibition on Wednesday. Clark had 2 three-pointers and converted both foul shots to compile her 8 points.

TBC came back from an early 10-0 deficit to get to within three points and kept the game close for most the half. After Parrish's three-pointer early in the third quarter, the Banyans extended their lead toward the final score.
Caroline Smith scored 8 points for the Eagles while Laila Harvey added 4. Alessandra Henriquez hit a 3-pointer, and Ranajala Brown also scored 3.
The Eagles will host Clinton College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday before playing an exhibition game at NCAA Division 2 Savannah State University on November 14. TBC will then visit New College of Florida on November 16 and Bethune-Cookman University on November 19 for the final NCAA Division 1 exhibition of the season.
