The first half featured two lead changes and 6 ties as neither team built a double-digit lead, and both stayed within 4 points of each other for nearly the entire 20 minutes. Trinity held the slimmest of leads at 38-37 at halftime.

After the break, the game continued to go back and forth and stay within a 5-point margin until Kanady's three made the score 69-62 with 7:37 left to play. The Eagles outscored SEB 26-14 the rest of the way.

Overall, TBC sank 29 free throws (18 in the second half) to help build the insurmountable lead.
