Xavier Rose continued his pursuit of 1,000 career points with another outstanding performance against an NCAA Division 1 opponent on Friday. While visiting Florida A&M University, TBC Eagles Men's Basketball scored 65+ for the second time against a D-1, and Rose has 23 of those points to bring his total to 946.

Rose was 10 for 13 from the field with a three-point shot and a pair of free throws in amassing his 23 points, which was second overall on the court behind only FAMU's Shaquir O'Neil.

Jacquez Anderson hit three three-point shots for the bulk of his 11 points, and Diego Fernandez used 5 of 6 foul shots to help him reach double digits with 10.

The Eagles scored 38 points in the second half with a respectable 38% shooting from the field and an excellent 8-for-9 performance at the line.

Eight more Eagles contributed points, including Brandon Hill (6), DJ Thompson (5), Gavin Korth-Loder (4), Ian Kanady (2), Will Mosbach (2), Ethan Bray (2),  Kenny Berry (2), and Ja'Maryus Pringle (1).

The Eagles will visit NAIA Ave Maria University on Monday, November 25, before pausing for Thanksgiving break. When play resumes, TBC will visit NJCAA Florida Gateway College on December 3 before returning home to face NCCAA Champion Christian College on December 5.
