Bio

Jordan Broaden enters his fourth season as the assistant baseball Coach and recruiting coordinator at Trinity Baptist College. In 2022, Broaden coached four players who earned All-Region honors and a player who received NCCAA All-American honors. In 2021, the Eagles had a stellar winning season: a NCCAA Regional semi-finalist finish, seven players named to NCCAA All-South Region teams and a player named NCCAA All-American. Additionally, the offense hit .307 which is a program record, and Top 10 in the country in the following categories: Average, Runs, Hits, 2B, 3B, and RBI.

Prior to joining TBC, Broaden started his coaching career with Storm Baseball of Florida, working with youth during his sophomore year of college. This is where Broaden honed his skills and acumen for coaching baseball. Initially, Broaden served as a coach for 16U and 18U showcase teams. Many of those players are now playing baseball at different collegiate levels across the country. Broaden had the honor of helping to build and run the 11U-14U for the organization. The primary goal for these age players is to train and prepare them for middle and high school baseball and, ultimately, college. Participation requires discipline, commitment to academics, and teamwork. Broaden is passionate about working with players to improve their skills to their fullest potential, teaching them life lessons through the game of baseball, and ultimately developing young men to become well-rounded athletes ready to compete at the college and professional levels.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Broaden is a 2020 graduate of TBC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. A four-year collegiate athlete, Broaden played baseball at TBC. Broaden was a versatile utility player who contributed as an infielder, outfielder, pitcher. He proved himself one of the team’s top base stealers. During his collegiate career, Broaden played a role in the team reaching one regional final, one semi-final, and a third-place finish with an invitation to the NCCAA College World Series. Broaden was team captain from 2018-2020.

For Broaden, becoming an assistant baseball coach at his alma mater is a dream come true. “I’m excited and blessed to continue coaching and recruiting student athletes that desire to excel both on the field and in the classroom, have a mindset of contributing to the team’s success and ultimately graduate from TBC,” he said. “Above all, I will be a positive role model and mentor on and off the field while incorporating important life lessons into the game.” These lessons will translate into the real world for becoming successful citizens in society.
