TCJ Eagles Baseball will participate in its second consecutive NCCAA Division 2 National Invitational Tournament from February 19-21. 

The NCCAA has announced the four-team field with three teams returning from last year's tournament.  

Arlington Baptist University (last year's champion) will host the tournament at Lon Goldstein Field in Fort Worth, Texas.

Trinity's schedule is as follows (all times EST):

• Thursday, February 19 vs. Champion Christian, 6:00 p.m.

• Friday, February 20 vs. Randall University, 11:00 a.m.

• Friday, February 20 vs. Arlington Baptist University, 5:00 p.m.

• Saturday, February 21 vs. TBA (pending previous results)

"It is an honor, once again, to participate in the NCCAA D-2 College World Series," said Eagles head coach Jon Copeland. "It is a testament to last year's team and our excellent season that allowed us to qualify. This year's team returns many of those same players who now have that experience -- from playing in the tournament last year -- under their belts, and this will definitely come in handy in Arlington, TX. We look forward to another opportunity to play in the College World Series."

The Eagles finished second in the 2025 Invitational with a record of 2-2, including a 25-8 victory over Champion Christian and a 4-2 win over South Region foe Southeastern Baptist College. Battery mates Jacob Brigman and Larson Lott made the All-Tournament roster for their exceptional performances in the four games. Lott's diving catch in foul territory during the tournament was featured in the NCCAA Plays of the Month montage for February. 

The Invitational is a precurser to the pending return of the official NCCAA Division 2 World Series, which could return in upcoming years.
